Zusammenfassung:

In this paper we focus on modeling large hypertext collections and on generating semantically derived navigational structure from these domain models. We start by discussing the main building blocks of our modeling methodology and system (based on previous work in our group) and describe our domain modeling framework and the steps to get a Hyperbook based on such a Domain Model. A Meta Model defines all the modeling constructs needed for the design of Domain Models as well as their semantics. Navigation is determined on the basis of these Domain Models by a detailed Navigational Model, which uses navigational rules to generate the navigation structure from the Domain Model. In addition, a visualization formalism implements the generated navigational constructs as (HTML)-Hyperbook pages.
