Abstract: While phrase structure grammars are straight-forward to implement in PROLOG and thus have become very popular among logic programmers, dependency grammars have long remained a widely unnoticed linguistic alternative. This paper presents a simple dependency grammar formalism that makes use of PROLOG´s built-in unification and resolution mechanisms and as a tool is just as easy to use as the classical DCGs.
