-> May 2020: The 2020 Manifesto for WebScience is finally out: Web Futures: Inclusive, Intelligent, Sustainable. This Manifesto synthesizes and extends results from the Perspectives Workshop ``10 Years of Web Science" that took place at Schloss Dagstuhl from June 24 – 29, 2018.
-> April 2020: Due to COVID-19, SoSe20 will take place online. We can do it!
-> March 2020: Our DFG project ``Machine learning for adaptive process planning of 5-axis milling" was accepted, a collaboration with Dr. M.-A. Dittrich, IFW Hannover.
-> February 2020: Kick-off meeting of the NoBIAS ITN at Hannover. Great network, exciting work ahead.

2019

-> October 2019: Our paper ``FAE: A Fairness-Aware Ensemble Framework'' was accepted as short paper at IEEE Big Data 2019. See you in LA.
-> September 2019: I am PC-Chair for KDML'19, co-located with LWDA 2019. The meeting will take place from September 30, 2019 to October 2, 2019, at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
-> August 2019: Our paper ``AdaFair: Cumulative Fairness Adaptive Boosting'' was accepted at CIKM. See you in Beijing.
-> August 2019: I will be a poster, demo and application co-chair for CIKM 2020 that will take place from 19-23 October 2020 in Galway, Ireland.
-> July 2019: Our paper on sentiment analysis on big data streams with limited labels was accepted at KAIS (Knowledge and Information Systems) journal.

-> 19.3.2019: I am attending the FORSCHUNGS­GIPFEL 2019, focusing this year on AI. Videos are available online.
-> February 2019: Our paper on exploiting entity-specific information for classification over streams of reviews was accepted at the ACM SAC - Data Streams track SAC-DS.
-> January 2019: Our article on data mining analysis of isotope data from animal and human findings in the alpine reference region accepted at the Archaeometry journal is now online.

-> December 2018: Our proposal on bias in big data decision making has been accepted by the VolkswagenStiftung under the call Artificial Intelligence and the Society of the Future. Excited!!!
